彈性膜片聯軸器在傳遞扭矩的同時通過彈性膜片的的變形來補償軸向和角向的位移，是一種高性能的金屬彈性撓性聯軸器。彈性聯軸器結構緊湊(cou)，傳遞扭矩(ju)大，使用(yong)壽命長，免維護，耐高溫，耐酸(suan)堿(jian)防腐(fu)蝕，適用(yong)于高溫高速及有腐(fu)蝕工況環境的軸(zhou)系傳動。

靠背輪聯軸器用來(lai)將(jiang)不同(tong)機構中的主動(dong)(dong)軸和(he)從動(dong)(dong)軸牢固地聯接起來(lai)一同(tong)旋(xuan)轉，并傳遞運(yun)動(dong)(dong)和(he)扭矩的機械部件。有(you)時也用以聯接軸與其(qi)他零件（如(ru)齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由(you)兩(liang)(liang)半合成，分別用鍵或緊(jin)配(pei)合等聯接(jie)，緊(jin)固在兩(liang)(liang)軸端，再通過某(mou)種方式(shi)將兩(liang)(liang)半聯接(jie)起來。

靠背輪聯(lian)軸(zhou)器可兼有補償兩軸(zhou)之間(jian)由(you)于制造安裝不(bu)精(jing)確、工作時的變形或熱膨脹等(deng)原因(yin)所發生的偏移（包括軸(zhou)向偏移、徑向偏移、角偏移或綜(zong)合偏移）；以及緩(huan)和沖(chong)擊、吸振。

靠背輪(lun)為俗稱(cheng)，專業叫法為聯(lian)軸器以(yi)及法蘭，用于(yu)機械設備的連接。
