彈性膜片聯軸器在傳遞扭矩的同時通過彈性膜片的的變形來補償軸向和角向的位移，是一種高性能的金屬彈性撓性聯軸器。彈性聯軸器結構(gou)緊湊，傳遞扭矩大，使用壽命長，免維護，耐高(gao)溫(wen)，耐酸堿防腐蝕，適用于高(gao)溫(wen)高(gao)速及(ji)有腐蝕工況環(huan)境的(de)軸系傳動。

靠背輪聯軸器用來(lai)將(jiang)不同機構中的主動(dong)軸(zhou)和從(cong)動(dong)軸(zhou)牢固地聯接起來(lai)一(yi)同旋轉，并(bing)傳遞(di)運動(dong)和扭矩(ju)的機械部件(jian)。有(you)時也(ye)用以聯接軸(zhou)與(yu)其他零件(jian)（如齒(chi)輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由兩(liang)半合(he)成，分別用鍵或緊配合(he)等聯接(jie)(jie)，緊固在兩(liang)軸端，再(zai)通(tong)過某種(zhong)方式將兩(liang)半聯接(jie)(jie)起來。

靠背輪聯軸器可兼有補償兩軸之間由(you)于制造安裝不精確(que)、工作時的變形(xing)或熱(re)膨脹等原因所發生(sheng)的偏(pian)移(yi)（包括軸向偏(pian)移(yi)、徑向偏(pian)移(yi)、角偏(pian)移(yi)或綜合偏(pian)移(yi)）；以及(ji)緩(huan)和(he)沖擊、吸振。

靠背輪為(wei)(wei)俗稱(cheng)，專業(ye)叫(jiao)法為(wei)(wei)聯(lian)軸器(qi)以及法蘭，用于機械設(she)備的連接。
