SWP十字萬向(xiang)聯軸器采用(yong)(yong)剖(pou)分式(shi)叉頭布(bu)局，與(yu)SWC十字萬向(xiang)聯軸器使用(yong)(yong)的場合(he)相近(jin)，主要運用(yong)(yong)在重載(zai)大型裝備(bei)領域，回轉直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬(wan)向(xiang)聯軸器(qi)采用整體式叉頭(tou)布(bu)局，主要用于(yu)軋鋼(gang)機(ji)(ji)械(xie)，起重運(yun)輸機(ji)(ji)械(xie)等其他(ta)重型裝備(bei)領域(yu)，回(hui)轉直徑可(ke)到(dao)1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可(ke)達30m以上，是運(yun)用相當(dang)廣泛的萬(wan)向(xiang)聯軸器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接(jie)的機(ji)泵(beng)在安裝過程(cheng)中都不可(ke)避免地(di)要進行(xing)同(tong)軸度的調整，使(shi)對輪既(ji)同(tong)心又(you)平行(xing)，否則(ze)將影響機(ji)泵(beng)使(shi)用(yong)效率或造成設備(bei)運行(xing)事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來將不同(tong)機構(gou)中(zhong)的主(zhu)動軸(zhou)(zhou)和(he)從動軸(zhou)(zhou)牢固地(di)聯接起來一同(tong)旋轉，并傳(chuan)遞(di)運動和(he)扭矩的機械部件(jian)(jian)。有時也用(yong)以(yi)聯接軸(zhou)(zhou)與其他零(ling)件(jian)(jian)（如齒(chi)輪、帶輪等）。

靠(kao)背輪常由兩半合成，分別(bie)用鍵或緊(jin)配(pei)合等聯接，緊(jin)固在(zai)兩軸端，再通過某種方式將(jiang)兩半聯接起(qi)來。

靠背輪聯軸(zhou)器(qi)可兼有(you)補償(chang)兩軸(zhou)之間由于(yu)制造安裝不(bu)精(jing)確、工作時的變形或熱膨脹等原因所發生的偏(pian)移（包括軸(zhou)向偏(pian)移、徑向偏(pian)移、角(jiao)偏(pian)移或綜合偏(pian)移）；以及緩和(he)沖(chong)擊、吸振。

靠(kao)背(bei)輪為俗稱，專業叫法為聯軸器以及法蘭，用于機械(xie)設(she)備的連(lian)接。
