SWP十字萬向聯軸(zhou)器采用剖分式叉頭布局，與(yu)SWC十字萬向聯軸(zhou)器使用的(de)場合相近，主(zhu)要運用在(zai)重(zhong)載大(da)型裝(zhuang)備(bei)領域(yu)，回轉(zhuan)直徑可達(da)1200mm。

SWC十字萬向聯軸(zhou)器(qi)采(cai)用(yong)整體式(shi)叉頭布局，主要用(yong)于軋鋼機(ji)械，起(qi)重運輸(shu)機(ji)械等其他重型裝備領域，回(hui)轉直徑可到1600mm，扭(niu)矩傳遞距(ju)離可達30m以上，是運用(yong)相當廣泛的(de)萬向聯軸(zhou)器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機(ji)泵在(zai)安裝過程中(zhong)都不(bu)可避免地要進行同軸(zhou)度的調整，使對(dui)輪既同心又(you)平行，否則將影響機(ji)泵使用(yong)效率或造(zao)成設備運行事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不(bu)同(tong)機構(gou)中的主動(dong)軸和從動(dong)軸牢固地聯接(jie)起來一同(tong)旋轉，并(bing)傳遞運動(dong)和扭矩的機械部件。有時也用以(yi)聯接(jie)軸與其他零件（如齒輪、帶(dai)輪等）。

靠背(bei)輪常由(you)兩半合成，分別用鍵或緊(jin)配合等聯接(jie)，緊(jin)固在兩軸端，再(zai)通過(guo)某種方(fang)式將(jiang)兩半聯接(jie)起來。

靠背輪聯軸器可兼有補償兩軸之間由于制(zhi)造(zao)安裝不(bu)精確、工作時的變(bian)形(xing)或熱(re)膨脹等原(yuan)因所發(fa)生的偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)（包括(kuo)軸向偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)、徑向偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)、角(jiao)偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)或綜(zong)合(he)偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)）；以及緩和沖擊(ji)、吸振。
