萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高，傳動效率優異，在現代工業(ye)領域(yu)被廣泛采用。

SWP十字萬向聯(lian)軸器(qi)采用剖分式(shi)叉頭布局，與SWC十字萬向聯(lian)軸器(qi)使用的場合相近，主要運用在重載大型裝備領(ling)域，回(hui)轉直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬向聯軸(zhou)器(qi)采用(yong)整體(ti)式叉頭(tou)布(bu)局(ju)，主要用(yong)于軋鋼機械，起重運輸機械等其他重型(xing)裝備(bei)領域(yu)，回轉直徑可(ke)到1600mm，扭(niu)矩傳(chuan)遞(di)距(ju)離(li)可(ke)達(da)30m以上(shang)，是運用(yong)相當(dang)廣泛的萬向聯軸(zhou)器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯(lian)接的機(ji)泵(beng)在安(an)裝過程中都(dou)不可避免地(di)要進(jin)行同(tong)軸度的調整，使對輪(lun)既同(tong)心又(you)平行，否則(ze)將影響機(ji)泵(beng)使用效率或(huo)造成設備運(yun)行事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來(lai)將不同機構中的主動(dong)(dong)軸和從動(dong)(dong)軸牢固地聯(lian)接起來(lai)一同旋轉，并傳遞運(yun)動(dong)(dong)和扭矩(ju)的機械部件。有時也用以聯(lian)接軸與其他零(ling)件（如齒輪、帶輪等(deng)）。

靠背輪常由兩半(ban)合(he)成，分別(bie)用鍵或緊配合(he)等(deng)聯接，緊固在(zai)兩軸端，再通過某種(zhong)方式將兩半(ban)聯接起(qi)來。
