SWC十字萬(wan)向聯軸(zhou)(zhou)器采用整(zheng)體式叉頭布局，主要(yao)用于(yu)軋(ya)鋼(gang)機(ji)械，起(qi)重運輸(shu)機(ji)械等其(qi)他重型裝(zhuang)備領域(yu)，回轉直徑可(ke)到(dao)1600mm，扭矩傳遞(di)距離可(ke)達(da)30m以上，是運用相當廣泛的(de)萬(wan)向聯軸(zhou)(zhou)器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機(ji)泵(beng)在(zai)安裝過程中都不可避(bi)免地要進(jin)行同(tong)軸度的調(diao)整，使對(dui)輪既同(tong)心又平行，否則將影(ying)響(xiang)機(ji)泵(beng)使用效率或造成設(she)備(bei)運(yun)行事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來(lai)將(jiang)不(bu)同機構中的(de)(de)主動(dong)軸(zhou)和從動(dong)軸(zhou)牢固地(di)聯接起來(lai)一同旋轉，并傳遞運動(dong)和扭矩的(de)(de)機械部件。有時也用以聯接軸(zhou)與其他零件（如齒輪(lun)、帶輪(lun)等）。

靠背輪常由兩半合成，分別用鍵或緊配合等聯接，緊固在兩軸端，再通(tong)過(guo)某種方式將兩半聯接起來。
