萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承(cheng)載能力高，傳動(dong)效率優異，在現代工業領(ling)域被廣(guang)泛采用。

SWP十字(zi)萬(wan)向聯軸器采用(yong)剖分式叉頭布局，與SWC十字(zi)萬(wan)向聯軸器使用(yong)的場(chang)合相近，主要運用(yong)在重載大型裝備領域(yu)，回轉直(zhi)徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬向(xiang)聯軸器采(cai)用整(zheng)體式(shi)叉頭布局，主要用于(yu)軋(ya)鋼機械(xie)，起重運(yun)輸機械(xie)等(deng)其(qi)他重型(xing)裝備領域，回轉直徑(jing)可到(dao)1600mm，扭矩傳遞距(ju)離可達30m以上，是運(yun)用相當廣泛的萬向(xiang)聯軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵(beng)在安裝過程中(zhong)都不可避免(mian)地要進行同(tong)軸度的調整，使對輪既同(tong)心又(you)平行，否則將影響機泵(beng)使用效率或造(zao)成設備(bei)運行事故(gu)。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來將不同機(ji)構中(zhong)的(de)主動軸(zhou)和從動軸(zhou)牢(lao)固(gu)地聯接(jie)起來一同旋轉，并傳遞運動和扭矩的(de)機(ji)械部件。有時(shi)也用(yong)以聯接(jie)軸(zhou)與其他零件（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由兩半(ban)合成，分別用鍵或緊(jin)配合等聯接，緊(jin)固在兩軸端，再通(tong)過某種方式將兩半(ban)聯接起來(lai)。
