彈性膜片聯軸器在傳遞扭矩的同時通過彈性膜片的的變形來補償軸向和角向的位移，是一種高性能的金屬彈性撓性聯軸器。彈性聯軸器結構緊湊(cou)，傳遞扭矩大，使用(yong)壽命長，免維護，耐(nai)高(gao)溫(wen)，耐(nai)酸堿防腐蝕，適(shi)用(yong)于高(gao)溫(wen)高(gao)速及有(you)腐蝕工況環境的軸系傳動(dong)。

靠背輪聯軸器用來(lai)將不同(tong)機構中的(de)(de)主動軸和(he)從(cong)動軸牢固地(di)聯(lian)接(jie)起來(lai)一(yi)同(tong)旋轉，并傳遞運動和(he)扭矩(ju)的(de)(de)機械部件(jian)。有時也(ye)用以聯(lian)接(jie)軸與其(qi)他零件(jian)（如齒(chi)輪(lun)、帶輪(lun)等）。

靠背輪常由兩半(ban)(ban)合成，分(fen)別用鍵或(huo)緊(jin)配(pei)合等聯接，緊(jin)固在(zai)兩軸端，再通過某種(zhong)方式將(jiang)兩半(ban)(ban)聯接起來。

靠背輪(lun)聯軸器可兼有補償兩軸之(zhi)間(jian)由于(yu)制造(zao)安裝不精確、工作時的變(bian)形或熱膨脹等原(yuan)因所發(fa)生的偏(pian)移(yi)（包括軸向偏(pian)移(yi)、徑向偏(pian)移(yi)、角(jiao)偏(pian)移(yi)或綜合偏(pian)移(yi)）；以(yi)及緩和沖擊、吸振。

靠(kao)背輪為俗稱，專(zhuan)業叫法(fa)為聯(lian)軸(zhou)器以及法(fa)蘭(lan)，用于機械(xie)設備的(de)連接。
