彈性膜片聯軸器在傳遞扭矩的同時通過彈性膜片的的變形來補償軸向和角向的位移，是一種高性能的金屬彈性撓性聯軸器。彈性聯軸器結構(gou)緊湊，傳遞扭矩大，使用壽命長(chang)，免維護(hu)，耐高溫(wen)，耐酸堿(jian)防腐蝕，適用于高溫(wen)高速及有腐蝕工況環境的軸系傳動(dong)。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來(lai)將不同(tong)機構中的主動(dong)軸和從動(dong)軸牢固地聯接起來(lai)一同(tong)旋轉，并傳遞運(yun)動(dong)和扭矩的機械部件(jian)。有時也用(yong)以聯接軸與其他零件(jian)（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背(bei)輪常(chang)由兩半合成，分別用鍵或緊配合等聯(lian)接(jie)，緊固在兩軸端(duan)，再通過(guo)某種方(fang)式將(jiang)兩半聯(lian)接(jie)起來。

靠(kao)背輪聯軸(zhou)器可兼(jian)有補償兩軸(zhou)之間由于(yu)制造安裝不精確、工作時(shi)的變形或(huo)熱膨脹等原因所發(fa)生的偏(pian)移(yi)（包括軸(zhou)向偏(pian)移(yi)、徑向偏(pian)移(yi)、角偏(pian)移(yi)或(huo)綜合偏(pian)移(yi)）；以(yi)及緩和(he)沖擊、吸振(zhen)。

靠背輪為(wei)俗稱，專業叫法為(wei)聯軸器以及(ji)法蘭，用于機械設備的連(lian)接(jie)。
