萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承(cheng)載能力高，傳動(dong)效率優異，在現代(dai)工業領域被(bei)廣(guang)泛(fan)采用。

SWP十字(zi)萬向聯軸(zhou)器(qi)采用剖分式(shi)叉頭布局，與SWC十字(zi)萬向聯軸(zhou)器(qi)使(shi)用的場合相近，主要(yao)運用在(zai)重載大型裝備(bei)領域，回轉(zhuan)直(zhi)徑可達1200mm。

SWC十(shi)字萬(wan)向(xiang)聯軸器采(cai)用(yong)整體式叉頭布(bu)局，主要(yao)用(yong)于(yu)軋(ya)鋼機械(xie)(xie)，起重運(yun)輸(shu)機械(xie)(xie)等其(qi)他重型裝備(bei)領(ling)域，回轉直徑(jing)可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離(li)可達30m以上，是運(yun)用(yong)相當廣泛的萬(wan)向(xiang)聯軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯(lian)接的機泵在安裝過程中都不可避免地要進行同軸度的調整，使(shi)(shi)對輪既(ji)同心又平行，否(fou)則將(jiang)影響機泵使(shi)(shi)用效率或(huo)造成設備(bei)運行事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來(lai)將不同(tong)機構(gou)中(zhong)的主動軸(zhou)和從動軸(zhou)牢固(gu)地聯(lian)接起來(lai)一同(tong)旋(xuan)轉，并傳遞運動和扭矩的機械部件。有(you)時也用以聯(lian)接軸(zhou)與其他零件（如齒輪(lun)、帶輪(lun)等）。

靠背輪常由兩半(ban)合成，分別用鍵或緊(jin)配合等聯接(jie)，緊(jin)固在兩軸(zhou)端，再通過某種方式將兩半(ban)聯接(jie)起來(lai)。

靠背輪聯軸器可(ke)兼有(you)補償兩(liang)軸之間由(you)于制造安裝不精(jing)確、工作時的變(bian)形或熱膨脹等(deng)原因(yin)所發(fa)生的偏移(yi)（包(bao)括軸向偏移(yi)、徑向偏移(yi)、角偏移(yi)或綜合偏移(yi)）；以及(ji)緩和(he)沖擊、吸振。
