萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力(li)高(gao)，傳動效(xiao)率優異，在現代工業領域被廣泛采(cai)用。

SWP十字(zi)萬(wan)向聯軸器采用剖(pou)分(fen)式叉頭布局，與(yu)SWC十字(zi)萬(wan)向聯軸器使(shi)用的場(chang)合相近，主(zhu)要運(yun)用在重載大(da)型裝備領域，回轉直(zhi)徑可達(da)1200mm。

SWC十字(zi)萬向(xiang)聯(lian)軸器采用整體(ti)式叉(cha)頭(tou)布局(ju)，主要用于軋鋼機(ji)(ji)械(xie)，起(qi)重運(yun)(yun)輸(shu)機(ji)(ji)械(xie)等其(qi)他(ta)重型(xing)裝備領域，回轉直(zhi)徑(jing)可到1600mm，扭矩傳(chuan)遞(di)距離(li)可達30m以(yi)上，是運(yun)(yun)用相當(dang)廣泛的萬向(xiang)聯(lian)軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯(lian)接的機(ji)泵在安裝過程中都不可(ke)避(bi)免地要進行(xing)同軸度的調整，使對(dui)輪既同心又平行(xing)，否則將(jiang)影響機(ji)泵使用(yong)效率(lv)或造成設(she)備運(yun)行(xing)事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來將不同機構(gou)中的主動軸(zhou)(zhou)和(he)從(cong)動軸(zhou)(zhou)牢固地(di)聯(lian)接起來一同旋轉，并傳遞(di)運動和(he)扭矩的機械部件。有時也(ye)用(yong)以聯(lian)接軸(zhou)(zhou)與其他零件（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠(kao)背輪常由兩(liang)半合成，分別(bie)用鍵或緊配合等聯(lian)接，緊固在兩(liang)軸端，再(zai)通過(guo)某(mou)種方式將(jiang)兩(liang)半聯(lian)接起來(lai)。

靠背輪(lun)聯軸(zhou)器(qi)可(ke)兼有補(bu)償兩軸(zhou)之間由于制(zhi)造安裝(zhuang)不精確(que)、工(gong)作時的變形或熱膨脹(zhang)等原因所發生的偏移(yi)(yi)（包(bao)括軸(zhou)向(xiang)偏移(yi)(yi)、徑向(xiang)偏移(yi)(yi)、角(jiao)偏移(yi)(yi)或綜合偏移(yi)(yi)）；以及緩和(he)沖擊、吸(xi)振。
