SWP十(shi)字萬向聯軸(zhou)器采用(yong)剖分式(shi)叉(cha)頭布局，與(yu)SWC十(shi)字萬向聯軸(zhou)器使用(yong)的(de)場合相近(jin)，主要運用(yong)在(zai)重載大(da)型裝備領域，回轉直(zhi)徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬(wan)向聯(lian)軸(zhou)器采用(yong)(yong)整體(ti)式叉頭布局，主要用(yong)(yong)于軋鋼機(ji)械(xie)，起重(zhong)運輸機(ji)械(xie)等其(qi)他重(zhong)型裝備領域，回轉直徑可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可達30m以上，是運用(yong)(yong)相當廣(guang)泛的(de)萬(wan)向聯(lian)軸(zhou)器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯(lian)接(jie)的機(ji)泵在安(an)裝過程中都不可避(bi)免地要進行(xing)同軸度的調整(zheng)，使對輪(lun)既(ji)同心又平(ping)行(xing)，否則將影(ying)響機(ji)泵使用效率或造成設備運行(xing)事故(gu)。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同機構中的主動(dong)軸(zhou)和(he)從動(dong)軸(zhou)牢固(gu)地聯(lian)接(jie)起來一同旋轉，并傳遞運動(dong)和(he)扭矩的機械部件。有時(shi)也用以(yi)聯(lian)接(jie)軸(zhou)與(yu)其他零件（如齒(chi)輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由兩(liang)半合(he)成，分別用(yong)鍵或緊配(pei)合(he)等聯接，緊固在兩(liang)軸(zhou)端，再通過某種(zhong)方(fang)式將兩(liang)半聯接起來。

靠背輪(lun)聯軸器可兼有補(bu)償(chang)兩軸之(zhi)間由于(yu)制造安裝不精確、工作時的變形或熱膨(peng)脹等原因所發生的偏移(yi)（包括軸向(xiang)偏移(yi)、徑向(xiang)偏移(yi)、角偏移(yi)或綜合偏移(yi)）；以及緩和沖擊、吸振。
