萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高，傳動效率(lv)優(you)異，在現代工業領域被廣(guang)泛采用。

SWP十字萬向聯軸器(qi)采用剖分式叉(cha)頭布局，與SWC十字萬向聯軸器(qi)使用的(de)場合相近(jin)，主要運用在重載大型(xing)裝備領(ling)域，回(hui)轉直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬向(xiang)聯軸(zhou)器(qi)采用(yong)整體式叉頭(tou)布局，主要用(yong)于軋鋼機(ji)械，起重運輸機(ji)械等其他重型裝備領域，回轉直徑可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可達(da)30m以(yi)上，是運用(yong)相(xiang)當廣泛的(de)萬向(xiang)聯軸(zhou)器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯(lian)接的機(ji)泵在安裝過程中都(dou)不可(ke)避免地要進行(xing)同軸(zhou)度的調整，使(shi)對輪既同心(xin)又(you)平行(xing)，否則將影響機(ji)泵使(shi)用效率或(huo)造成設備運(yun)行(xing)事故。

風機聯軸器是電機(ji)與風機(ji)連接的(de)聯(lian)軸器(qi)。它可(ke)以將不(bu)同機(ji)構中的(de)主動軸和從動軸牢(lao)(lao)牢(lao)(lao)地緊密連接在一起，以此達到(dao)一同旋(xuan)轉(zhuan)的(de)目的(de)，并傳遞運動機(ji)械零件(jian)，有時也用以聯(lian)接軸與其(qi)他零件(jian)。

風機(ji)聯(lian)軸(zhou)器具有(you)減速、增速、變向(xiang)和換向(xiang)等(deng)動作(zuo)以(yi)及(ji)緩(huan)和沖擊、吸振(zhen)的作(zuo)用。聯(lian)軸(zhou)器可分(fen)為剛性(xing)(xing)聯(lian)軸(zhou)器和撓性(xing)(xing)聯(lian)軸(zhou)器兩(liang)大類。前者不具有(you)緩(huan)沖性(xing)(xing)和補償兩(liang)軸(zhou)線相對位移的能力，但結(jie)構(gou)簡單，制造成(cheng)本較低(di)，裝拆、維護方便。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不(bu)同機構中的(de)主動(dong)軸和(he)從動(dong)軸牢固地聯接起來一同旋轉，并傳遞(di)運動(dong)和(he)扭矩的(de)機械部(bu)件。有時也用以聯接軸與其他零件（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由(you)兩(liang)半合成，分別用鍵或緊配合等聯接，緊固在兩(liang)軸端，再通過某種方式(shi)將(jiang)兩(liang)半聯接起來。

靠背輪聯(lian)軸(zhou)(zhou)器可兼有補償兩軸(zhou)(zhou)之間(jian)由于制造安(an)裝不精(jing)確(que)、工作時的變(bian)形(xing)或熱膨脹(zhang)等原因所(suo)發生(sheng)的偏移（包括軸(zhou)(zhou)向偏移、徑(jing)向偏移、角(jiao)偏移或綜合偏移）；以及緩和沖擊(ji)、吸振。

靠(kao)背輪為(wei)俗稱，專業叫法為(wei)聯(lian)軸器以及法蘭，用(yong)于機械設備的連(lian)接(jie)。
