彈性膜片聯軸器在傳遞扭矩的同時通過彈性膜片的的變形來補償軸向和角向的位移，是一種高性能的金屬彈性撓性聯軸器。彈性聯軸器結(jie)構(gou)緊湊(cou)，傳遞(di)扭矩大，使用壽命長，免維護，耐(nai)高溫，耐(nai)酸堿防腐蝕，適用于高溫高速及有腐蝕工況環境的軸系傳動。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同機構(gou)中的主動(dong)軸(zhou)和從動(dong)軸(zhou)牢固地(di)聯接(jie)起(qi)來一同旋轉，并傳遞運動(dong)和扭(niu)矩的機械部(bu)件。有(you)時也用以聯接(jie)軸(zhou)與其他零件（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由兩(liang)半合(he)(he)成，分別(bie)用(yong)鍵或緊配(pei)合(he)(he)等聯(lian)接，緊固在兩(liang)軸(zhou)端，再(zai)通過某種方式將(jiang)兩(liang)半聯(lian)接起來。

靠背輪聯(lian)軸器可兼有補償兩軸之間由于制造(zao)安裝不(bu)精確(que)、工作時的變形或熱膨脹等(deng)原因(yin)所發生的偏移（包(bao)括軸向偏移、徑(jing)向偏移、角(jiao)偏移或綜合偏移）；以(yi)及緩和沖(chong)擊、吸振。

靠背(bei)輪為俗(su)稱(cheng)，專業叫法為聯軸器以(yi)及法蘭，用于機械設備的連接(jie)。
