萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承(cheng)載能力高，傳動效率(lv)優(you)異，在(zai)現代工業領域被廣泛采用。

SWP十(shi)字萬(wan)向聯(lian)軸(zhou)器采用(yong)剖分式叉頭布(bu)局，與(yu)SWC十(shi)字萬(wan)向聯(lian)軸(zhou)器使用(yong)的場合相(xiang)近，主要(yao)運用(yong)在重(zhong)載(zai)大型裝備領(ling)域，回轉直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬(wan)向(xiang)聯(lian)軸(zhou)器采(cai)用(yong)整體式叉頭(tou)布局，主(zhu)要用(yong)于軋鋼機械，起重運輸(shu)機械等其他重型裝備領域，回轉直徑(jing)可(ke)到1600mm，扭矩(ju)傳(chuan)遞距(ju)離(li)可(ke)達30m以上，是運用(yong)相當廣泛的萬(wan)向(xiang)聯(lian)軸(zhou)器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵(beng)在安裝過程(cheng)中都不可避免地要(yao)進行(xing)同軸度的調整，使(shi)對輪既同心又平行(xing)，否則將影響機泵(beng)使(shi)用效率或造成設備運行(xing)事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來(lai)將不同機(ji)構中的(de)主動軸和從(cong)動軸牢固地聯接起(qi)來(lai)一同旋轉(zhuan)，并傳(chuan)遞運動和扭矩的(de)機(ji)械部件。有時也用(yong)以聯接軸與其他零(ling)件（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常(chang)由兩半合(he)成，分別(bie)用鍵(jian)或緊(jin)配(pei)合(he)等聯接，緊(jin)固在兩軸端，再(zai)通過某種方(fang)式(shi)將(jiang)兩半聯接起(qi)來。

靠背輪(lun)聯軸器可兼有補償兩(liang)軸之間(jian)由于制(zhi)造安裝不精確、工作(zuo)時的變形或熱膨(peng)脹等原因所發生的偏(pian)(pian)移（包(bao)括軸向偏(pian)(pian)移、徑(jing)向偏(pian)(pian)移、角偏(pian)(pian)移或綜合(he)偏(pian)(pian)移）；以及緩和沖擊、吸振。
