萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能(neng)力高，傳動(dong)效率優異，在現代(dai)工業領(ling)域被廣泛采用。

SWP十字萬(wan)向(xiang)聯軸器采用剖分式(shi)叉頭布局，與(yu)SWC十字萬(wan)向(xiang)聯軸器使用的場合(he)相近，主(zhu)要(yao)運用在重載大型裝備領(ling)域，回轉(zhuan)直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬(wan)向聯(lian)軸器采用整體式叉頭布(bu)局，主(zhu)要用于軋鋼機(ji)械，起重(zhong)運輸(shu)機(ji)械等(deng)其他重(zhong)型(xing)裝備(bei)領(ling)域(yu)，回轉直(zhi)徑(jing)可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可達(da)30m以(yi)上，是運用相(xiang)當(dang)廣(guang)泛的萬(wan)向聯(lian)軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接(jie)的機(ji)(ji)泵(beng)在(zai)安(an)裝(zhuang)過程(cheng)中都不可(ke)避免地要(yao)進行(xing)同(tong)軸度的調整，使(shi)對輪既同(tong)心又(you)平(ping)行(xing)，否則將影響(xiang)機(ji)(ji)泵(beng)使(shi)用效率或造(zao)成設備運行(xing)事故(gu)。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來(lai)將(jiang)不同機構中的(de)主動軸和從動軸牢固地聯接(jie)起(qi)來(lai)一同旋轉，并傳遞(di)運動和扭矩的(de)機械部件。有時也用(yong)以聯接(jie)軸與其他零(ling)件（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由(you)兩半合(he)成，分別用鍵或(huo)緊配合(he)等聯接，緊固在兩軸(zhou)端，再通過某種方式將兩半聯接起來。
