萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承(cheng)載能力高，傳動效率優異，在(zai)現代工業領域(yu)被廣泛采用(yong)。

SWP十字萬向(xiang)聯軸(zhou)器(qi)采用(yong)剖(pou)分式叉(cha)頭布局，與SWC十字萬向(xiang)聯軸(zhou)器(qi)使(shi)用(yong)的場合相近，主要運用(yong)在(zai)重載(zai)大型裝(zhuang)備領域，回轉(zhuan)直徑可(ke)達1200mm。

SWC十字萬(wan)向聯(lian)軸器(qi)采用(yong)整體式(shi)叉頭布局(ju)，主要用(yong)于軋鋼機械(xie)，起重(zhong)(zhong)運輸(shu)機械(xie)等其他重(zhong)(zhong)型(xing)裝備(bei)領域，回轉直徑可到1600mm，扭(niu)矩傳遞距離可達30m以上(shang)，是(shi)運用(yong)相當(dang)廣泛的萬(wan)向聯(lian)軸器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接(jie)的機泵(beng)在安裝過程中都不可避免地要進(jin)行同(tong)軸度的調整，使對輪既同(tong)心又平行，否(fou)則將影響機泵(beng)使用效率或造(zao)成設備運行事故(gu)。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同(tong)機構中的主動軸(zhou)和從動軸(zhou)牢固地聯(lian)接(jie)(jie)起(qi)來一同(tong)旋(xuan)轉，并(bing)傳遞運動和扭矩的機械部件。有時也用以聯(lian)接(jie)(jie)軸(zhou)與其他零件（如(ru)齒(chi)輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由兩(liang)半合成(cheng)，分別(bie)用鍵(jian)或緊(jin)配合等聯接，緊(jin)固在(zai)兩(liang)軸端，再(zai)通過(guo)某種(zhong)方(fang)式將兩(liang)半聯接起來。

靠背輪(lun)聯軸器可兼有補償兩軸之間由于制造(zao)安裝不精確、工作(zuo)時(shi)的(de)變(bian)形或熱(re)膨脹等原因所發生(sheng)的(de)偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)（包括軸向偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)、徑向偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)、角偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)或綜合偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)）；以及緩和沖擊、吸振。
