萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能(neng)力高(gao)，傳動效率優異，在現代工(gong)業領域(yu)被廣泛采(cai)用。

SWP十字(zi)(zi)萬向(xiang)聯(lian)軸器采用剖分式叉頭布局，與SWC十字(zi)(zi)萬向(xiang)聯(lian)軸器使用的場合相(xiang)近，主(zhu)要運用在重載大型裝備領域，回轉直徑(jing)可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬向聯軸器采(cai)用(yong)整體式(shi)叉頭布(bu)局，主要用(yong)于軋鋼(gang)機械，起重運(yun)輸機械等其他重型裝備領域，回轉(zhuan)直徑可到(dao)1600mm，扭矩(ju)傳遞(di)距離(li)可達30m以上，是運(yun)用(yong)相當(dang)廣(guang)泛的萬向聯軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的(de)機(ji)泵(beng)在安裝(zhuang)過程中都不可避免地(di)要(yao)進(jin)行(xing)同軸度的(de)調(diao)整，使(shi)對(dui)輪(lun)既同心(xin)又平行(xing)，否則將影響機(ji)泵(beng)使(shi)用(yong)效率或造成設備(bei)運行(xing)事(shi)故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同機構中(zhong)的主動軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)和(he)從動軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)牢固地聯接起來一同旋(xuan)轉，并傳(chuan)遞運動和(he)扭(niu)矩的機械部件(jian)。有時也用以(yi)聯接軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)與其他零件(jian)（如(ru)齒輪(lun)、帶輪(lun)等）。

靠背(bei)輪(lun)常由兩(liang)(liang)半(ban)合成，分別用鍵或緊配合等聯接(jie)，緊固在兩(liang)(liang)軸端(duan)，再(zai)通過(guo)某種方式將(jiang)兩(liang)(liang)半(ban)聯接(jie)起來。

靠(kao)背輪聯軸器可兼有補償兩軸之間由(you)于制(zhi)造安(an)裝不精確、工作(zuo)時(shi)的變形或(huo)熱膨脹等原因(yin)所發生的偏(pian)移（包括軸向(xiang)偏(pian)移、徑(jing)向(xiang)偏(pian)移、角(jiao)偏(pian)移或(huo)綜合偏(pian)移）；以及(ji)緩和沖擊、吸振(zhen)。
