彈性膜片聯軸器在傳遞扭矩的同時通過彈性膜片的的變形來補償軸向和角向的位移，是一種高性能的金屬彈性撓性聯軸器。彈性聯軸器結構緊湊，傳(chuan)(chuan)遞(di)扭(niu)矩大，使用壽(shou)命長，免(mian)維(wei)護，耐高(gao)溫，耐酸堿(jian)防腐蝕，適用于高(gao)溫高(gao)速(su)及(ji)有腐蝕工況(kuang)環境的軸系傳(chuan)(chuan)動(dong)。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來將不同(tong)機構中的主(zhu)動軸(zhou)和從動軸(zhou)牢固(gu)地聯(lian)接(jie)起來一同(tong)旋(xuan)轉，并傳遞運(yun)動和扭矩的機械部件。有(you)時也用(yong)以聯(lian)接(jie)軸(zhou)與其他零件（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠(kao)背輪常由兩半合成，分別(bie)用(yong)鍵或緊配合等聯接，緊固在(zai)兩軸端，再通過(guo)某種方式將(jiang)兩半聯接起來。

靠(kao)背輪聯軸器可兼有補償兩(liang)軸之間由于制造安(an)裝不(bu)精確、工作時的變形或熱膨(peng)脹(zhang)等原因(yin)所發生(sheng)的偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)（包括(kuo)軸向(xiang)偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)、徑向(xiang)偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)、角偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)或綜合偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)）；以(yi)及緩和沖擊、吸振(zhen)。
