萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高，傳(chuan)動效(xiao)率優異，在(zai)現(xian)代工(gong)業領域被廣泛采用。

SWP十字(zi)萬(wan)向(xiang)聯軸器采(cai)用(yong)(yong)剖分(fen)式叉頭布局，與(yu)SWC十字(zi)萬(wan)向(xiang)聯軸器使用(yong)(yong)的場(chang)合(he)相近，主要運用(yong)(yong)在重載大(da)型裝備(bei)領域(yu)，回(hui)轉直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬(wan)向聯(lian)軸(zhou)(zhou)器(qi)采用(yong)(yong)整體式叉(cha)頭布局，主要用(yong)(yong)于軋鋼機械，起重運輸機械等其(qi)他重型裝備領(ling)域(yu)，回(hui)轉(zhuan)直徑可到1600mm，扭矩(ju)傳(chuan)遞距離可達(da)30m以上，是運用(yong)(yong)相當(dang)廣泛的萬(wan)向聯(lian)軸(zhou)(zhou)器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵在(zai)安裝過(guo)程中都不可避免地要進行(xing)同(tong)(tong)軸度的調整，使(shi)對輪既同(tong)(tong)心(xin)又平行(xing)，否則(ze)將影響(xiang)機泵使(shi)用(yong)效率(lv)或造(zao)成設備運行(xing)事(shi)故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將(jiang)不同機(ji)構中的主動軸和從動軸牢固(gu)地聯(lian)接(jie)(jie)起來一同旋轉，并傳遞(di)運動和扭矩的機(ji)械部件。有時也用以聯(lian)接(jie)(jie)軸與(yu)其他(ta)零(ling)件（如齒輪、帶(dai)輪等(deng)）。

靠背(bei)輪常由兩半合成，分別用鍵或緊(jin)配合等聯接，緊(jin)固在兩軸端，再通過某(mou)種方式將(jiang)兩半聯接起來。

靠背輪聯軸器(qi)可兼有(you)補(bu)償兩(liang)軸之間由于制造(zao)安裝(zhuang)不(bu)精確、工作時的(de)變形或熱(re)膨脹等原因所發生的(de)偏移（包括軸向偏移、徑向偏移、角偏移或綜合偏移）；以及緩和沖擊、吸振。
