彈性膜片聯軸器在傳遞扭矩的同時通過彈性膜片的的變形來補償軸向和角向的位移，是一種高性能的金屬彈性撓性聯軸器。彈性聯軸器結構(gou)緊湊，傳遞扭(niu)矩大，使用壽命長，免(mian)維護，耐(nai)高(gao)溫(wen)，耐(nai)酸(suan)堿(jian)防腐蝕，適用于(yu)高(gao)溫(wen)高(gao)速及(ji)有腐蝕工(gong)況環境的(de)軸(zhou)系(xi)傳動。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來將不同機(ji)構中的主動軸(zhou)和從動軸(zhou)牢固地聯接起來一同旋轉，并傳遞運(yun)動和扭(niu)矩(ju)的機(ji)械部件(jian)。有時也用(yong)以聯接軸(zhou)與其(qi)他零件(jian)（如齒輪(lun)、帶輪(lun)等）。

靠(kao)背輪(lun)常由(you)兩(liang)半合成，分別用(yong)鍵或緊配合等(deng)聯接(jie)，緊固在(zai)兩(liang)軸端，再通過(guo)某種方(fang)式將兩(liang)半聯接(jie)起來。

靠背(bei)輪聯軸器可兼有補(bu)償兩軸之(zhi)間由(you)于制造安裝不精確、工作時的變形(xing)或熱膨脹等原因(yin)所發生的偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)（包括軸向偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)、徑向偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)、角偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)或綜合偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)）；以及緩和沖(chong)擊、吸振。

靠(kao)背輪(lun)為(wei)俗稱，專業叫法(fa)為(wei)聯軸器以及(ji)法(fa)蘭，用(yong)于機械設備的連接(jie)。
