彈性膜片聯軸器在傳遞扭矩的同時通過彈性膜片的的變形來補償軸向和角向的位移，是一種高性能的金屬彈性撓性聯軸器。彈性聯軸器結構緊湊，傳遞(di)扭矩大，使用壽命(ming)長，免(mian)維護，耐高溫，耐酸堿防腐(fu)蝕，適用于(yu)高溫高速及(ji)有(you)腐(fu)蝕工況環境的軸系傳動。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同機(ji)構中的主動(dong)軸和從(cong)動(dong)軸牢固(gu)地聯(lian)接起(qi)來一(yi)同旋轉，并傳遞運(yun)動(dong)和扭矩(ju)的機(ji)械部件(jian)。有時也用以聯(lian)接軸與其他零件(jian)（如(ru)齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠(kao)背(bei)輪常由兩半合成，分別(bie)用鍵或(huo)緊配合等聯接(jie)，緊固在兩軸端(duan)，再通過某種方(fang)式將兩半聯接(jie)起來。

靠背輪(lun)聯軸器(qi)可兼(jian)有(you)補償兩(liang)軸之(zhi)間由于(yu)制造安裝不精確、工作(zuo)時(shi)的變形或(huo)(huo)熱膨(peng)脹等原因所發生的偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)（包(bao)括軸向偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)、徑向偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)、角偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)或(huo)(huo)綜合偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)）；以及緩和沖擊(ji)、吸振。

靠背(bei)輪為俗稱(cheng)，專業叫法為聯軸器以(yi)及法蘭，用于機械(xie)設備的連接。
