扭矩聯軸器是聯接主動機與工作機的一種部件，主要功能為過載保護，力矩聯軸器是當超(chao)載(zai)或機(ji)械故(gu)障而導致(zhi)所需扭(niu)矩超(chao)過設定(ding)值時(shi)，它以打滑(hua)形式限制傳動系統所傳動的扭(niu)力，打滑(hua)的同時(shi)也能一個信(xin)號輸出停掉電機(ji)和減速機(ji)，當過載(zai)情形消失后自行(xing)恢(hui)復聯結。

扭矩安全聯軸器螺帽或螺栓調整彈簧力，預設其滑動扭矩。按工作原理可分為摩擦式扭矩限制器和鋼球式扭矩限制器(滾珠式扭矩限制器)，安全離合器應用(yong)范圍(wei):電子裝備行(xing)業、自動化(hua)生產線、輸送(song)機行(xing)業等。
