SWP十(shi)字萬向聯(lian)軸器(qi)采(cai)用剖(pou)分(fen)式叉頭布局，與SWC十(shi)字萬向聯(lian)軸器(qi)使用的場合相近，主要運(yun)用在重載大型裝備領域(yu)，回轉直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬向聯軸器采用(yong)整體式叉頭布局(ju)，主要用(yong)于(yu)軋鋼機械(xie)，起重運輸(shu)機械(xie)等其(qi)他重型裝備(bei)領域，回轉直徑可(ke)到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可(ke)達30m以上，是運用(yong)相(xiang)當廣泛的萬向聯軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯(lian)接(jie)的(de)機(ji)泵(beng)在安裝過程中都不可避免(mian)地(di)要進行(xing)同(tong)軸度的(de)調整，使對輪既同(tong)心又(you)平(ping)行(xing)，否(fou)則(ze)將影(ying)響機(ji)泵(beng)使用效率或造成設備(bei)運行(xing)事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來(lai)將不同機構中的主(zhu)動軸和從動軸牢固地聯接起來(lai)一(yi)同旋轉(zhuan)，并傳遞運動和扭矩的機械部件(jian)。有時也(ye)用(yong)以聯接軸與其他零(ling)件(jian)（如齒輪(lun)、帶輪(lun)等）。

靠背輪常由兩半合(he)成，分別用鍵或(huo)緊(jin)配合(he)等聯接，緊(jin)固在兩軸(zhou)端，再通過某種方式將兩半聯接起來。

靠(kao)背輪聯軸器可兼(jian)有補償兩(liang)軸之間(jian)由于(yu)制造安裝不精(jing)確、工(gong)作(zuo)時(shi)的變形或(huo)(huo)熱膨脹等(deng)原因所發(fa)生的偏移（包(bao)括軸向(xiang)(xiang)偏移、徑(jing)向(xiang)(xiang)偏移、角(jiao)偏移或(huo)(huo)綜合偏移）；以及緩和沖擊、吸振。
