蛇簧聯軸器其主要結構是由兩個半聯軸節，兩個半外罩，兩個密封圈及蛇形彈簧片組成。它是靠蛇簧嵌入兩半聯軸節的齒槽內來傳遞扭矩，聯軸器以蛇形彈簧片嵌入兩個半聯軸節的齒槽內，來實現主動軸與從動軸的鏈接。蛇型彈簧聯軸器運轉時，是(shi)靠主動(dong)端(duan)齒面對蛇簧的(de)軸向作用力帶動(dong)從動(dong)端(duan)，來傳(chuan)遞扭矩，如(ru)此在(zai)很大程度上避免(mian)了(le)共振現(xian)象發生(sheng)，且簧片(pian)在(zai)傳(chuan)遞扭矩時所(suo)產生(sheng)的(de)彈性變量，使機械系統能獲得較好的(de)減振效果，其(qi)平均減振率達36%以上。
